Dr. Mary-Kate Wilson
Mary-Kate Wilson is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a professional background rooted in the University of Florida. She was accepted into the accelerated 7 year B.S./M.D. Junior Honors Medical Program at UF during her sophomore year of college. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Biological and Medical Sciences and graduated with honors. During her undergraduate career, she was a teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry I and II as well as Biochemistry. During medical school, she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society, an achievement that recognizes students in the top tier of the class.
She completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida. She pursued her passion for oculoplastic surgery under the mentorship of Dr. David Kostick at Florida Eye Specialists. She worked for The Eye Associates in Jacksonville, FL and then moved to Greenville, SC to join her brother's practice, Pisgah Eye Surgeons.
She specializes in upper and lower eyelid surgeries such as blepharoplasties as well as brow lifts, skin cancer excisions, Botox, CO2 laser skin resurfacing, cataract surgery and more. In her free time, she enjoys ballroom dancing, mountain biking, weight lifting, and hiking with her golden retriever.
